With almost 30 years of experience in digital health as a developer, academic researcher and entrepreneur, he has strong background in EHR & health information architectures, interoperability with hands on implementation experience on key standards such as openEHR, HL7 v2, FHIR and SNOMED-CT.
Koray has been contributing to standards development and governance at a global scale, in particular to openEHR. He was a member of the first openEHR Foundation Management Board and has been heavily involved in clinical modelling and software development. After more than 20 years in managing director, board and C-level roles within the digital health and software sectors, I chose to share this experience with SMEs, having seen first-hand how easily leaders become trapped in daily operations, delay decisions and struggle to delegate or scale.
As a Business Coach with ActionCOACH, I work with owner-managed companies in the Münsterland region and beyond, across Germany and internationally through hybrid and virtual formats. My focus areas include strategy and goal setting, profit and cashflow improvement, leadership and team performance, process optimisation, and sustainable scaling, helping owners step out of the operational treadmill and back into their entrepreneurial role. Alongside this, I remain active in digital health, particularly in interoperability, clinical data platforms and openEHR.
