We caught up with Maks Kasprzyk, co-founder of Anamedi – our new industry partner: He shares how they’re turning clinical conversations into structured, interoperable data—and why joining openEHR aligns with their vision for open, usable and future-proof healthcare systems.
We’re excited to become a member of the openEHR community and to support its mission of enabling structured, interoperable, and high-quality healthcare data. At Anamedi, we are building an AI scribe that integrates natively with openEHR, transforming spoken clinical interactions into structured medical documentation.
Designed for structure and flexibility
Our platform captures clinician–patient conversations and turns them into meaningful documentation. While automation and speed are essential, we still prioritise reliability, consistency and usability of the data.
openEHR plays a key role in our architecture. Its modular, standards-based design enables us to generate semantically rich records that are compatible across different healthcare systems. At the same time, our platform remains flexible and can operate beyond openEHR where needed. We believe that openness and adaptability are critical in the complex realities of clinical practice.
Alignment with openEHR principles
What drew us to openEHR was not only the technical capabilities but also the values behind it. The focus on data independence, shared archetypes, and long-term usability matches our goal of creating documentation that serves clinicians, patients, and the broader healthcare system.
By integrating openEHR, we aim to make clinical data more actionable, portable, and enduring, without locking it into closed ecosystems.
A commitment to the community
Joining openEHR is more than adopting a standard. It is an opportunity to engage with a global community of practitioners, developers, and thinkers who share a vision for better digital healthcare. We’re looking forward to contributing in meaningful ways as we continue to develop and grow.
Looking ahead
We are building tools that help clinicians document more efficiently, with less friction and more structure. openEHR is an important part of that effort, helping ensure the data we generate is clinically useful and future-proof.
We are proud to join this community and look forward to collaborating on the path ahead.
