openEHR Day Italy - 6th June 2019

This Italian openEHR Day will take place on 6th June 2019 at the Science and Technology Park of Sardinia. The event is being organized by CRS4 in collaboration with Sardegna RicercheBetter by MarandInpeco and Dedalus. This event aims to promote the vision and opportunities offered by the openEHR initiative and will be the first of its kind to be held in Italy.

During the event, leading experts from the openEHR Foundation will introduce the main concepts behind the openEHR formalism and its application. A set of significant use cases will be presented, such as the HiGHmed Project in Germany, the European-Canadian Cancer Network (EUCANCan) and the 100,000 Genomes Project by Genomics England. A special session will be dedicated to comparing the purposes and approaches of openEHR and the HL7 FHIRⓇ standard.
